Is there a free trial?
Yes — every account starts with a 24-hour trial at full Village level so you can explore the dashboard, invite your parent or mentor, and log your first sessions immediately. No card required. Add a card to continue on a 30-day trial; nothing is charged until the trial ends.
Who can access the dashboard?
The student sets up and maintains the tracker. Both plans include a mentor invite. On Focus, the student can invite one parent and one mentor. On Village, up to three additional people — a teacher, tutor, grandparent, or anyone else in their support network — can also be invited. Each person gets read access to the same live dashboard.
What is the difference between Homework and Study time?
Homework time is assigned work — tasks set by a teacher that the student must complete. Study time is voluntary — extra revision, reading, or practice the student chooses to do outside of set homework. Tracking both separately helps parents and mentors see not just whether homework is being done but how much self-directed effort the student is putting in.
How do Mentoring Credits work?
Mentoring Credits are a $200 block of credit available on both plans. Topping up is how you tell your assigned mentor to stay actively involved — it is not a request system. Once credit is in place, the mentor reviews the dashboard at their own discretion, adds comments and observations, and acts as they judge necessary. A charge is deducted for each intervention. When the balance runs out, the mentor steps back.
Can I add more than one child?
Yes. Every plan includes one child. Additional children can be added at £25/mo each from the Family Dashboard. Each child gets their own study tracker linked to the same parent view.
Can I change plans?
Yes. You can upgrade from Focus to Village at any time — changes take effect immediately and billing is prorated. Downgrading takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Is the student's data private?
Yes. Only the student and the people they invite can see the dashboard. Data is never shared with third parties or used for any purpose outside the platform.
Can a teacher sign up separately?
A teacher does not need their own CleverPATHS subscription. When a Village subscriber invites a teacher, the teacher receives a view-only link — no separate account or payment needed.
